Senior Design video presentation excerpt
Project Purpose: Investigate and test the effectiveness of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Hospitals (OLOLRMC) new surge system to reduce the levels of emergency department overcrowding and develop recommendations to better accomplish OLOLRMC’s surge system goals. Lean Systems DesignProject purpose:
Apply lean methodologies at the LSU Student Health Center in order to decrease patient flow and queue time while increasing resource utilization throughout the clinic. We collected data through time studies and created a base simulation model using ARENA simulation software. We then proposed alternatives for improvement, ran these simulations in an alternative simulation model. A comparison analysis was then used to determine if the alternative solutions achieved the project goals. |
EuroFlixProject purpose:
Created and designed an informational and technical business model for an online video rental and streaming company for an Engineering and Business Informatics course. Undergraduate Research: Lean in HealthcareAssisted Professor Dr. Ikuma, Dr. Nahmens, and graduate students at LSU in introducing Lean processes at Ochsner Hospital by implementing 5S organizational concepts and procedures. Our work was published in Ch. 6 of the book entitled Lean Six Sigma for the Healthcare Enterprise: Methods, Tools, and Applications.

Visual Basic CodingProject purpose:
The assigned objective of this project was to create an inventory system using VB.net form applications. We combined our assigned objective with a philanthropic goal to create The Walking for Water Project. The purpose of Walking for Water is to provide an outlet for the avid show lover to purchase shoes at a discounted price while simultaneously contributing their money to aid impoverished communities and nations. |
